Reseller Blog: Tips On Sourcing, Listing, Marketplaces, Selling Faster

Best AI Listing Tools for eBay UK: 8 Options Reviewed (2026)

Written by Billy Burridge | Oct 30, 2026, 12:10:59 PM

The best AI listing tools for UK eBay sellers in 2026 depend on how much you list. If you're regularly listing dozens of items each month or more, a dedicated AI listing tool that connects directly to eBay will most likely save enough time to justify its cost.

Listing is where most reselling businesses stall. Every secondhand item is unique, and needs its own photos, research, pricing, category, item specifics, condition note and description write up. None of it gets quicker on the 200th jumper. Our user research data across hundreds of resellers puts that at around 10 to 17 minutes per item if done manually. A batch of 50 unique items can swallow 1-2 days before anything is live. The catch is that most "AI listing" tools only solve part of that, and few handle the whole job: creating listings in bulk, publishing them to eBay cleanly and managing them once they're live.

Disclaimer: this article is written by Listing Monster, but we have evaluated each tool across the same metrics and criteria.

Best AI eBay Listing Tools for UK sellers at a Glance

Prices and features were checked on each tool's official website on 21 October 2026. Several tools bill in US dollars, so the sterling cost moves with the exchange rate.

How We Compared These Tools

This guide covers AI listing creation tools for UK eBay sellers specifically. This article does not cover best crosslisting apps or other reseller tools, which are covered in detail in our reseller university article Listing for Resellers: The Complete Guide. Where a listing tool also crosslists, we mention it as a bonus. Each review assesses the tool against the same 6 criteria, then sums up its main pros and cons so you can see the trade-offs at a glance. We judged each AI eBay listing tool on:

  • eBay integration: does it publish straight to your eBay account, and do its drafts pass eBay's strict rules for category and item specific values?
  • AI quality and control: can it list the way you want to list, without you having to do it manually yourself?
  • Bulk workflow: can you photograph 50 unique items and review 50 drafts, rather than listing one at a time?
  • Mobile app: can you capture and upload from your phone?
  • Beyond creation: does it help with other jobs in your reselling process, like sourcing, inventory automation or crosslisting.
  • Pricing: what are costs per month and the comparable "cost per listing"
  • Free trial: can you get a good feel for the platform without any financial risk

We based this comparison on each tool's website information and help documentation.

From the reseller's side. This guide was written by Billy Burridge, founder of Billy's Retro, a reseller with over £1 million in sales. In his words:

"Having sold more than 50,000 secondhand items through Billy's Retro, I've experienced firsthand how much time listing unique stock takes. When you're processing hundreds of individual garments, even saving three minutes per listing makes a substantial difference to how much stock you can get online."

At peak, Billy's Retro was processing around 70 unique garments a day on to eBay and depop. Every one had to be photographed on its own, checked for brand, size and condition, and given a title and description that couldn't be copied from the last item, because no two pieces of vintage clothing are quite the same. Then each became a separate listing to track until it sold. At that volume, 3 minutes saved per item is roughly 3.5 hours a day. That's the difference between a backlog that grows and one that clears, and it's why the job after the AI writes a draft matters as much as the draft itself.

Text Generator, Listing Tool or Listing Workflow?

The tools here fall into 3 types:

  • AI that generates listing text. ChatGPT writes a good title and description, but it doesn't understand eBay marketplace rules, and getting the listing on to ebay and managing it is all done by hand.
  • AI that creates individual listings. eBay's own tools and several dedicated listers turn photos into published eBay listings to check and publish.
  • A complete listing workflow. Tools that help you value and source product, create eBay listings in bulk, then help you automate your inventory management to turn listings into sales.

The 8 Best AI Listing Tools for eBay UK

Each review covers the same 6 criteria, so you can compare like for like. Where a tool's website doesn't cover something, we say so rather than guess.

1. Listing Monster: best AI listing tool for eBay resellers whole workflow

Listing Monster is an AI listing tool for resellers of unique secondhand stock, and today our customers use it to create and manage eBay listings as well other channels. You photograph and upload items in bulk, the AI then drafts each listing the way you'd write it, and you review and publish straight to eBay.

  • eBay integration: it connects to your eBay account through eBay's official API, so listings are created and published directly in your account with no copying fields across. Listing Monster is also trained on eBay compatibility and rules, so it is writing listings with the right categories and item specific values, and that will actually be accepted by eBay when you try to publish. Before a draft reaches you, the category is picked, the full title length is used, and all required and optional item specifics are filled out for SEO. After publishing, it also syncs with eBay on an ongoing basis to automate actions like repricing, relisting, refreshing, offers andautodelisting based on rules you define. Upon sale, your ebay orders sync and are reported in Listing Monster.
  • AI quality and control: With Listing Monster, your AI can be personalised to list in your specific style, which differs vs the "one-size-fits-all" AI output you get with most other AI listing tools. This is important as it reduces the amount of time you need to spend editing AI drafts back to what you want, and improves the quality of keywords for your products. Your AI lister adopts your preferences for title order, condition grading, description structure and keywords, and it's set up around the products you sell rather than one generic prompt for everyone. Listing Monster also analyses more than just photos to identify and optimise keywords for your prodocuts. You can record voicenotes, scan barcodes or use the built-in Google Lens shortcut to give the AI additional context on your item in addition to the product photos.
  • Bulk workflow: every step works in batches. Upload a whole batch of photos and the drafts are generated as you go, so they're waiting for you when you finish. Then review, edit and publish the batch together, reducing the repetitive work involved in processing large volumes of stock.
  • Mobile app: photograph and list directly in the iOS and Android app, from capture through to review and publishing. You can also drag a folder in on desktop.
  • Beyond listing creation: Listing Monster's tools help resellers at every step of the item journey, from sourcing to sale. The Price Check tool enables you to check item values before you buy. Once an item is live, automation rules keep your inventory working hard to sell itself. Automation options include discounting on a schedule down to a floor you choose, relisting stale listings to put them back at the top of search front of buyers, and run different strategies by category or price band. You can also automate offer management, with auto-accept and minimum offer levels. If you are looking to get your inventory across multiple marketplaces, Listing Monster also enables crosslisting to plaforms like Depop, Vinted and Shopify. Finally, inventory management helps you manage a large inventory, with SKUs, COGS tracking, labels and and bulk actions keeping you organized as you grow. In terms of customer support, the primary support channel is an in-app live chat (answered by humans not bots!), so no need to wait days for an email reply if you get stuck.
  • Pricing: Listing Monster's subscriptions give you an allowance of AI credits each month which can be used for different actions in the app. For example, listing an item costs 10 credits. Pricing tiers begin with Starter at $19.99/£15.99 a month (500 credits, up to 50 listings), Grow at $39.99/£34.99 (1,500 credits, up to 150 listings), Pro $79.99/£69.99 (3,500 credits, up to 350 listings), with additional higher volume tiers available in-app. In terms of cost per listing, it equates to $0.23/£0.20 on the Pro Plan.
  • Free trial: A 14-day free trial with unlimited usage is available.

As Matthew, owner of eBay reselling business Commodity Cavern, puts it: "I went from listing my week's stuff in a day and a half to listing everything within four or five hours."

Pros:

  • Deep integration with eBay marketplace compatability. All categories, item specifics and rules built-in to the way the AI creates your listings. So your eBay listings are optimised for eBay's algorithim and nothing fails silently when you publish.
  • Syncs listings and orders to and from eBay through the official API
  • AI can be personalised to list the way you already list
  • Batch workflow from upload through to publishing
  • Dedicated mobile app (IOS and Android) for bulk upload and on-the-go usage.
  • Price Check tool helps you check prices before you buy on your sourcing runs.
  • Automation rules keep live inventory working hard to sell
  • Crosslisting to Depop, Shopify and Vinted available.
  • Inventory management tools to keep a growing business organised
  • Longest free trial at 14 days with unlimited usage.

Cons:

  • Advanced features like AI customisation and Automation Rules take a small investment of time to setup.
  • Not yet any crosslisting available to Poshmark, Mercari, Grailed, Vestiarre or Etsy
  • No handling of eBay multi-variants.

2. ChatGPT: best for listing the odd item

  • eBay integration: none. You copy each field into eBay yourself and match item specifics to the values eBay accepts, with no check that the output will pass eBay's notoriously stringent rules.
  • AI quality and control: high. You can tell it exactly how to write your titles and it handles unusual items well, but keeping that style consistent across hundreds of items depends on reusing the same prompt.
  • Bulk workflow: it can draft text for several items in one conversation, but there's no bulk listing or publishing.
  • Mobile app: yes, but it produces text, not listings.
  • Beyond listing creation: none, and any price it suggests isn't based on sold data unless you research it yourself.
  • Pricing: free tier available, but most resellers scaling beyond a few items a week would soon find themselves needing the Plus plan at $20 per month to continue uploading.
  • Free trial: not applicable as free tier available to test low volumes

Pros:

  • Free for low volume for basic listing help, with no subscription needed
  • Full control over the instructions of how titles and descriptions are written
  • Handles unusual items well as it has additional tools available like Web Search.

Cons:

  • Doesn't publish to eBay, so every field is copied across by hand
  • No check that categories and item specifics match eBay's accepted values
  • No bulk listing, and no sold-data pricing
  • No tools to help other parts of the reseller workflow before or after listing creation

3. eBay's own Magical AI Listing Tool

  • eBay integration: native, so drafts sit in your eBay account.
  • AI quality and control: none. You can't shape the writing style or change it from the default defined by eBay. When uploading photos on the browser, the AI only drafts category and a partial amount of item specifics, it did not generate title, condition or price. This leaves a considerable amount of manual research and write-up to do.
  • Bulk workflow: the AI bulk listing tool in Seller Hub creates drafts from batches of photos, on desktop only. You need to manually assign photos to groups before drafting.
  • Mobile app: the Magical Listing flow in the eBay app suggests a title, category and item specifics from a photo.
  • Beyond creation: nothing beyond eBay's standard selling tools.
  • Pricing: free. Standard eBay fees apply.
  • Free trial: not applicable

Pros:

  • Free, with nothing to connect or sign up for
  • Built into the eBay app and Seller Hub you already use, so there's no new tool to learn
  • Drafts sit natively in your eBay account
  • The mobile flow suggests a title, category and item specifics from a single photo
  • Bulk drafts from batches of photos in Seller Hub

Cons:

  • No control over writing style, and no way to train it on how you list.
  • Only fills out a partial amount of required data, you still need to fill out title, condition and price manually, which are 3 of the most time consuming elements.
  • The simplified mobile flow is aimed at private sellers, and bulk is desktop only
  • Every autofilled detail needs checking, which eBay itself recommends
  • No relisting, repricing or merchandising automation beyond eBay's standard selling tools

4. ListAgent Pro

  • eBay integration: publishes to eBay through eBay's official API, and supports eBay UK. No mention of how marketplace rules, compatability and export failures are handled on the website.
  • AI quality and control: ability to customise the AI's writing style is advertised on the website on all plans. Photos are listed as the only source of analysis for the AI.
  • Bulk workflow: ability to bulk upload photos and assign groups of photos to SKUs.
  • Mobile app: no dedicated mobile app. The tool needs to be used on web browser.
  • Beyond listing creation: several ebay listing management automations on offer. Including automated relisting, offers and auto-delisting on ebay. Crosslisting capability to depop, Grailed, Poshmark and Mercari.
  • Pricing: ListAgent's subscription packages use the concept of listing credits, but if a listing has over 3 photos then it costs double. As nearly all sellers include over 3 photos in their listing, the price per listing works out at double what is quoted per listing credit on the website. The Basic tier starts at $19 a month with a range of tiers available above that. Assuming over 3 photos per listing, a full-time reseller would likely need the $86 plan that comes with 450 listings. In terms of cost per listing, it works out at $0.19.
  • Free trial: Limited to only 5 listing credits (which is worth 2.5 listings if you have over 3 images per item)

Pros:

  • eBay inventory management automations like relisting and offers.
  • Ability to customise AI instructions
  • Bulk import and bulk actions

Cons:

  • Costs per listing are effectively double quoted on website if you include more than 3 images in your listing.
  • Very limited free trial
  • Crosslisting is US-focused
  • No mobile app
  • No sourcing tools
  • No automated repricing

5. Spadeberry

  • eBay integration: connects through eBay's API. It added eBay UK in February 2026. Its release notes show regular fixes for eBay rejections, such as converting sizes to the values eBay accepts.
  • AI quality and control: saved description templates, notes for individual items, and generation that learns from your recently published listings.
  • Bulk workflow: batch generation and a publishing queue that handles hundreds of items with progress tracking.
  • Mobile app: iOS and Android.
  • Beyond listing creation: auto-relist, auto-reprice to a floor, offers to watchers and sales insights on paid plans, plus crosslisting to Depop and Poshmark.
  • Pricing: paid plans start at $9.99 for 20 listings a month and increase from there. In terms of effective cost per listing, that works out at $0.50 per listing on the Starter plan (20 listings a month) and $0.45 per listing on the Professional plan (550 listings a month).
  • Free trial: lasts 30 days, but is capped at 50 listings which is likely to be hit very early for a keen reseller

Pros

  • iOS and Android apps
  • Relisting, repricing and offer automation on paid plans
  • Depop and Poshmark crosslisting available

Cons:

  • Very expensive on a cost per listing basis
  • US-centric, with eBay UK support only since February 2026
  • Background removal uses separate photo tokens
  • Free trial has low usage cap

6. Listing Engine

Listing Engine is a UK-built AI lister for eBay. Its co-founder is an ex reseller across eBay, Depop and Shopify. It's aimed at UK resellers, with pay-per-listing pricing in pounds.

  • eBay integration: connets with eBay API, but its site doesn't go into detail on how marketplace compatibility and publishing errors are handled.
  • AI quality and control: generates a title, description, item specifics and a suggested price from your photos, using its own AI instructions. Its site doesn't describe options for customising the writing style.
  • Bulk workflow: upload all your product photos at once and it generates multiple listings at the same time, ready to review and publish.
  • Mobile app: not mentioned on its website
  • Beyond listing creation: crosslisting to Vinted is available. Relisting and repricing aren't among the features it lists. Support includes live chat 7 days a week, email within 24 hours and bookable demos.

7. 3Dsellers: best for traditional eBay retailer store management

  • eBay integration: a long-established eBay platform that displays an eBay Silver Solution Provider 2026 badge.
  • AI quality and control: AI creates listings from images, titles, identifiers or URLs, and writes titles, descriptions and keywords. Image-based creation matches items to the eBay catalogue, which may be less useful for one-off vintage and secondhand items with no catalogue match.
  • Bulk workflow: bulk editing on every plan and CSV import from Growth upwards. Bulk AI is a paid add-on, not available on Essential.
  • Mobile app: not covered in the pages we reviewed.
  • Beyond listing creation: relisting automation, an offers manager, automated buyer messages, feedback reminders, and inventory and order management from Growth upwards.
  • Pricing: Essential $19 a month (100 active listings), Growth $39.90 (500), Professional from $79 (2,000 upwards), with 25% off annual billing. AI Bulk Actions from $9 a month extra.
  • Free trial: 7-day free trial, no card.

Pros:

  • The deepest eBay store-management toolkit here
  • Relisting automation, offers, buyer messages and feedback reminders
  • Suits several eBay accounts and large catalogues
  • 7-day free trial, no card needed

Cons:

  • Aimed more at traditional retailers and busineses on eBay, rather than solo resellers.
  • Image-based AI depends on an eBay catalogue match, which may suit one-off secondhand items less well
  • Plans are capped by active listings, which works less for secondhand sellers selling unique items.
  • Bulk AI is a paid add-on, not available on Essential

8. Frooition: best for listing design and catalogue-wide SEO

  • eBay integration: describes itself as an eBay Certified Partner since 2008, with a single-page lister and category auto-suggest.
  • AI quality and control: AI titles, descriptions and item specifics, plus "Auto Fix", which applies SEO repairs across your whole catalogue. Design control is a strength, with 600+ templates and custom listing design.
  • Bulk workflow: bulk listing from a spreadsheet or existing catalogue, bulk revision and scheduled publishing.
  • Mobile app: its templates are mobile-optimised, but a mobile listing app isn't mentioned in the pages we reviewed.
  • Beyond listing creation: an auto-relister, order management, an eBay messages inbox, automatic feedback and listing backup, with UK and US support teams.
  • Pricing: from £30 plus VAT a month (or $46), with unlimited listings and 10% off annual billing.
  • Free trial: 7-day free trial, no card.

Pros:

  • Strong on ebay listing description template design
  • Auto Fix applies SEO repairs across your whole catalogue
  • Unlimited listings at a flat monthly price in pounds
  • UK and US support teams

Cons:

  • Focuses on design and SEO more than bulk photo-to-listing creation for unique stock
  • No mobile listing app mentioned in the pages we reviewed
  • Not designed for resellers - its more focused on eBay sellers of new goods.

Do You Actually Need a Paid AI Listing Tool?

Very occasional sellers listing the odd item can use ChatGPT for free help with wording, though you'll still list by hand.

Occasional sellers don't need a big subscription. Costs start at about £15/$20 a month for most AI listing tools for their Starter tiers.

Part-time resellers listing dozens of unique items a month, often around a day job, will find a dedicated tool frees up time precious time so they can get more sourced, listed and sold in those precous hours in the evening and weekend. Photograph a weekend's finds in one go, then review and publish the drafts from your phone in the evening, rather than losing whole evenings to typing. Listing Monster's Starter or Grow plans (up to 50 or 150 listings a month) suit this stage.

Professional resellers feel every extra minute, because every secondhand item is a fresh listing with its own brand, size and flaws. Listing Monster's Grow or Pro plans (up to 150 or 350 listings a month) suit this stage, with a batch workflow for photographing, reviewing and publishing a day's stock in one sitting.

High-volume businesses need more than creation. With hundreds or thousands of live listings, stale stock ties up cash, so scheduled price reductions, relisting and SKU and cost tracking matter as much as new listings. Listing Monster covers all three, and its Enterprise plan adds multiple users with permission controls, a dedicated account manager, assisted onboarding and pay by invoice.

How Much Time Can AI Listing Tools Save?

Any figure depends on your product types and how much checking each item needs, but our Reseller Handbook 2026 (UK edition) estimates that manual listing takes around 10 to 17 minutes per item, against 1.5 to 3 minutes with an AI-assisted workflow that includes a human quality check.

Most of the saving comes from keyword-rich titles, completed item specifics and batching: photographing 50 items, then reviewing 50 drafts, instead of switching tasks 50 times.

AI doesn't remove checking. Brand, sizing, condition and flaws still need a human eye, especially on vintage, where a misread label or unmentioned stain becomes a return.

How to Choose the Best AI Listing Tool for Your eBay Business

  1. Do you need text, single listings or a full workflow? Match the tool type to your volume.
  2. Does it publish directly to eBay UK? If you're still copying fields across, you haven't solved the problem.
  3. Can you customise the AI? Fewer edits per draft means a faster review.
  4. What happens after listing? If stale stock is a problem, look for relisting, repricing and crosslisting.
  5. What's the true cost? Read the platform's definition of credits closely, and count add-ons, limits and exchange rates.
  6. Can I properly measure benefits on a free trial? Does the tool's free trial allow you to put through sufficient volume to get a genuine sense of value. You can't tell anything from a handful of listings. But 1-2 weeks of sustained full usage, you can get a real sense of what the time savings and uplift can be for your business. You can then compare to the cost to make an informed Go/No-go decision.

FAQs

Does eBay have a free AI listing tool?

Yes. eBay offers a Magical Listing flow in its mobile app and an AI bulk listing tool in Seller Hub on desktop. Both are free in the UK, though the simplified mobile flow is aimed at private sellers. Drafts need careful checking, and you can't customise the writing style.

Can you bulk list on eBay using AI?

Yes. eBay's Seller Hub tool creates drafts from batches of photos, and dedicated tools such as Listing Monster allow you to bulk upload photos and generate batches of draft listings in one go. They differ in how well drafts match eBay's requirements, and in what they do once listings are live.

Are AI-generated eBay listings accurate?

They're usually a strong starting point, not a finished product. AI handles titles, descriptions and item specifics well, but it can misidentify items or guess sizes and condition. Treat every draft as something to check, focusing on brand, size, flaws and measurements before you publish.

Is paid eBay listing software worth it?

It's worth it once listing time is limiting how much stock you get online. Most tools here offer a free trial, so the fairest test is to time your current process, then time the same kind of stock through a trial, including review and edits, before paying.

Final Verdict

If you are occasional seller, listing less than 20-30 items a month, then ChatGPT is your best free option. In this case the time savings from full integration and value of workflow tools have not really started to rack up. But if you are a part-time or full-time reseller listing dozens or hundreds of items a month, choose Listing Monster, as it will save you the most time across your whole workflow. It combines price check sourcing tools, bulk AI listing creation in your style, and automated inventory management. Take the 14-day free trial, list as much as you can to put it through its paces. If it doesn't save you enough to pay for itself, don't continue.
